If You’re A Man
We’re Your Family Law Firm

The legal system is broken. Fathers and husbands are discriminated against at every turn in divorce, child custody, domestic violence and other legal matters. We protect men.

Men’s Lives
Are Being Destroyed

Husbands are being blamed for failed marriages and are forced to pay. Fathers are being pulled away from their children. Men are being falsely accused of domestic violence and other crimes. And it’s not just men whose lives are being ruined. The children and even the women involved are hurt in the process. But while there are resources to support women and children, who protects the men?

We do.

At the Isaak Law Firm, we have dedicated our lives to standing up for men in family law and a wide range of other legal matters. Our founding attorney, Melissa L. Isaak, has seen firsthand how deeply ingrained the biases against men are in the legal system and beyond. From growing up with a mother who alienated her father to being a child therapist and seeing that what happened in courtrooms didn’t truly serve the best interests of children, she solidified her commitment to achieving equality for men.

If you are afraid of being falsely accused, losing your child or being forced to pay excessive amounts of support simply because you are a man, we are the law firm for you.

A Law Firm
For Men

Our team assists men with a wide range of legal issues. We handle all family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support and more. We defend against domestic violence allegations. We stand up for men in defamation lawsuits. We provide guidance in bankruptcy and more.

We represent enlisted men in all military law matters, including military divorce. Attorney Isaak served in the U.S. Army. She is currently in the Alabama Army National Guard and is certified as a lawyer in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps.

Step One:

You may feel tempted to respond. Whether you’ve been presented with divorce papers, threatened with having your time with your children taken away, falsely accused of domestic abuse or anything else, you may be angry, sad, frustrated and a mix of other emotions. You want to say your piece or explain your side. Don’t. Don’t make the call; don’t send the text; don’t write the Facebook post. Your words will just be twisted and used against you.

Step Two:
Call in reinforcements

We protect men. That’s what we’ve been doing, day in and day out, for more than a decade. We know what you’re up against. We know how women are believed, regardless of evidence. We know that there’s no real definition of “the best interest of the child” and that it tends to be “the best interest of the mother” instead. We know that women are rewarded for this behavior with spousal support and child support while men are punished and forced to pay regardless of whether it makes sense.

Most importantly, we know what needs to be done to protect you.
